Peter Branning has been sailing, cruising and racing sailboats all his life. He has won 6 State Championships, Three National Championships and two North American Championships  as well as many offshore sailboat races. He has coached the American Optimist Dinghy Team, College Single-Handed Champions and PHRF sailors up and down the East Coast. 

Currently he Captains Lightheart, a 40 ft. Hanse performance cruiser, for Captains Courageous LLC, as a team training and personal growth facilitator, and leads charters around the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. He is a US Coast Guard Captain, a US Sailing Certified Keelboat Instructor, certified in Fist Aid by the American Red Cross and a former commercial pilot, flight instructor and Miami Beach Lifeguard. He loves introducing people to sailing and to the sea and has a keen interest in using sailing as a vehicle for enhancing human growth and awareness.
